Privacy Policy - Recall Card

Recall Card does not collect any data.

Everything you capture — cards, photos, notes, tags, and follow-ups — stays on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, in your personal iCloud account. We operate no servers and have no access to your data.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Recall Card ("the App"), developed by Zyqion, handles your information. Recall Card is a business card scanner that captures contact details and the context of your meetings entirely on your device. The App is available on iOS (bundle identifier com.recallcard). There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking, and no third-party code in the App.

2. Where Your Data Lives

All data you create in Recall Card is stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, it also syncs through your personal iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit private database) so you can restore it or use it across your own devices. This data is managed by Apple under your iCloud account; Zyqion has no servers and no access to it.

3. Permissions

Recall Card requests permissions only when you use the related feature — never at launch. Each is optional except the camera, which is needed to scan.

Camera: used only to scan business cards and QR codes. Images are processed on your device.
Microphone & Speech Recognition (optional dictation): your voice is transcribed live on your device. Audio is never recorded or stored.
Calendar (optional event suggestions): the App reads today's events on your device to suggest where you met someone. Events are never modified or shared.
Contacts: the App never reads your contacts and requests no contacts permission. Exporting a card uses Apple's system new-contact sheet, which runs outside the App.

4. No Tracking, No Analytics

Recall Card contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no third-party tracking code. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not share or sell any information. Our App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected."

5. Purchases

Recall Card is free, with an optional one-time Recall Card Pro upgrade. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store; we receive no personal information from them.

6. Children's Privacy

Recall Card does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. No account is required and no data is transmitted to us.

7. Changes to This Policy

If a future version of the App ever changed any of the above, this policy and the App Store privacy label would be updated first. Any changes will be posted on this page.
